Noong hapon ng Marso 30, bumisita sa BFSU si Iliana Ivanova, Europeang komisyoner para sa pagbabago, pananaliksik, kultura, edukasyon at kabataan habang dumalo siya sa ikaanim na pulong ng China-EU High-Level People-to-People Dialogue sa Beijing. Kalahok dito si Chen Jie, member of the leading Party members group and vice-minister of the Ministry of Education (MOE), si Yang Dan, head of the ministry’s Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, at si Wang Dinghua, secretary of the CPC BFSU committee. Nag-host ng seremonya ng pagsalubong si Jia Wenjian, deputy secretary of the CPC BFSU committee and vice-president of BFSU.

Sa seremonya, ibinigay ni vice minister Chen Jie ang Dream of the Red Chamber sa wikang Bulgaro, Libro ng Kultura ng Tsina sa wikang Espanyol at Wikang Danes na inilathala ng BFSU kina commissioner Ivanova, Tuo Yaohui, Head of the EU Delegation to China, at Pia Arenkild Hansen, Director-General for Education and Culture of EU. Nagtalumpati sina Wang Dinghua at Ivanova.

Pagkatapos ng seremonya, bumisita ang delegasyon ni Ivanova sa Bulgarian Language Teaching and Research Office ng School of European Languages and Cultures ng BFSU upang malaman ang kalagayan ng pag-unlad ng kurso ng wikang Bulgaro at ibang mga wika ng EU. Bumisita rin ang delegasyon sa hardin ng pagkakaibigan ng China-EU na itinayo noong 2015.
