On April 25, Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski vistied BFSU and delivered a speech after visiting an exhibition dedicated to the great Polish Writer Henryk Sienkiewicz on the 100th anniversary of his death and the 110th anniversary of translation and introduction of his works into China, organized by the BFSU Polish Studies Center.

Polish Ambassador Miroslaw Gajewski, and some high-ranking officials from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also present during the visit. BFSU Council Chairman Han Zhen met with the Polish delegation and presented them a book as a gift, which is a collection of Chinese translations of selected works of Henryk Sienkiewicz, translated by BFSU Professor Yi Lijun, a well known Chinese translator of Polish literature.
