On May 5, President Peng Long met with Prof. Gianmaria Ajani, Rector of the University of Turin (Unito), Italy.
President Peng briefed the Italian guests about the development of language programs and academic studies at BFSU. He spoke highly of the double degree master’s program in international relations jointly offered by BFSU and Unito, and expressed his appreciation for the financial support provided by Unito to BFSU students. He wished for closer cooperation and exchanges between the two universities and talked about the possibilities of joint PhD programs in international relations, business, history, etc.
Rectory Ajani briefed the BFSU host about Unito and commended Unito’s long term ties with China. According to him, Unito has set up a research center in China to promote academic cooperation and mutual understanding with its Chinese partners. He wished for closer relations with China through this platform.
