Am 3. September wurde das neue Buch „Index Global 2021“ durch den Verlag Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press offiziell präsentiert. „Index Global 2021“ ist das erste Ergebnis des Projekts „Seeing the World through Building Indexes“, das unter der Leitung des Präsidenten der BFSU und stellvertretenden Sekretärs des Parteikomitees Yang Dan steht. Das Buch stellt ein neues Indexsystem vor, bestehend aus „Global International Organization Influence Index“, „National Language Ability Index“, „Global Intelligent Innovation Index“, „Chinese Universities Global Influence Index“, „Accounting Information Quality Index“ und „Globalization Barometer Index“. Es ist die erste Veröffentlichung dieses Indexsystems weltweit. Der „National Translation Ability Index“ sowie der „Chinese Universities Translation Ability Index” wurden bereits im Mai dieses Jahres auf der Gründungszeremonie des National Translation Ability Research Center der BSFU vorgestellt.
