On May 26,China-India University Presidents Roundtable was held in Peking University. Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Chinese Education Minister Yuan Rengui attended the meeting, together with presidents of 17 Chinese and Indian universities, including BFSU President Peng Long and presidents of Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Indian Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Management, Central University of Gujarat, etc.  President Peng Long spoke at the roundtable about closer academic exchange and dialogue between Chinese and Indian universities in the future.

BFSU and Central University of Gujarat signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during a ceremony witnessed by President Mukherjee and Minister Yuan. The two universities have reached a consensus on a wide range of issues regarding language teaching, faculty development, academic exchange and information sharing.
