The Online Education and Continuing Education College of BFSU, was founded in 2013 as a result of the merger of the former School of Continuing Education, Training School, School of Online Education and Tongwen Training Center. We currently have a total staff of 115, including 26 full-time teachers.   

The College has a training center offering preparatory courses for government-sponsored students before they go to foreign universities for further studies, and a test center authorized by the National Education Examinations Authority. We also offer preparatory courses for self-sponsored students who plan to pursue overseas studies. 

In terms of adult education, each year we enroll 200 students who after graduation have impressed their employers with good language competence. In terms of online education, we have built ourselves into a top brand in the field of online language education in China, offering degree programs in English, business administration, accounting, finance, e-commerce, information management & information technology, and international trade. Now over 45,000 students are enrolled in our online programs. We have also established joint partnerships with over 20 government bodies and major state companies for staff training, including the Ministry of Public Security, China Meteorological Administration, Bank of China, Construction Bank of China, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Southern Airlines, etc.. In addition, we offer Chinese language courses to international students and other courses to the Chinese public. 

The College has become an important window for BFSU to service the Chinese public through our degree and non-degree programs.
